Luke Orsetti was born in Castelfidardo (AN), Italy. He is the eldest of three boys.

At 19 he leaves for London, UK where he starts working both as a professional musician and as a political researcher for the BBC based in Westminster.

Attaining a degree in contemporary european studies, he then decides to follow his true passion and undertakes a career in design and interior design.

Luke creates and produces his very first sculptures 'Ribs' and 'Labyrinth' with dad.

Luke starts with his architect brother Lorenzo, 'Minima' (later minimaproject), a small company specialized in high quality home made furniture, home accessories and suspended 3D wall art. His work has been published in the most influential British and European design magazines.

He studies for a master in Interior Design at the 'University of the Arts at Chelsea College Art and Design' where he gains a First.

Luke moves back to Italy in his hometown Castelfidardo in the Marche region, a city known as the international capital of accordion manufacturers.

The creative impulse in Luke continues to remain high and gets instantly transmitted to others near him. Together with two business associates, Luke launches 'ikonitaly', a new and innovative online concept store that offers a curated and unique selection of high quality iconic pieces such as furniture, lighting, home accessories and art from international established names and emerging brands.

Thanks to his love for music and countless years of experience playing drums professionally for bands around the world, Luke takes on a small collaboration with Sergio Giovagnola of Sempirtenus, a small italian company that specializes in the production of handcrafted snare drums for international renowned artists. Together they design and produce a unique and innovative all white 6.5" x 14" snare drum. This iconic one-of-a-kind piece contains Luke's big bang logo and signature. Along with Sempirtenus handcrafted instruments, Luke is known to prefer Pork Pie custom drums.

Soupafunka! is born.
